Location, Transportation and Life Guide
The location of Changping Campus is within the Northern suburb of Beijing. The availability of Jingchang Highway makes transportation between Changping Campus and downtown Beijing convenient. Starting from Madian Bridge, which is an intersection between 3rd Ring Road and Jingchang Highway, it usually takes forty to forty-five minutes to arrive at Changping Campus if there is no traffic jam.
The bus station nearby Changping Campus is within a walking distance of five minutes. From 5:15 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the express bus service between North 3rd Ring Road and Changping is available within every ten minutes. The University Shuttle Bus Service between Changping Campus and Jimenqiao Campus is of 8 times every working day and individual transportation service is guaranteed to every professor in duty as a supplement to regular service. The shopping center, bank, post office, hotel and restaurant are all within a walking distance of no more than five minutes. At the southeast corner of University, there is Kangshan Square which is a public place for leisure walking. The staffs and students of CESL have equal access to all the sports & entertainment facilities in China University of Political Science and Law. For the aim of enriching the campus life in CUPL, our university continuously improves the construction of sports & entertainment facilities. Sports facilities inside and outside the Campus
Comprehensive Stadium of Changping District
The university has a Student Activity Center and a University Hall. The student unions often have their activities take place in the Student Activity Center, and it also served for holding lectures. The University Hall is used for celebrations, galas, evenings and other entertainment activities and lectures. |
