Tuition Fee: 23,500 RMB / year for Chinese Students
Unless CESL has given prior approval, all applicants must pay tuition in whole at time of registration. Applicants who apply for an extension postponing the payment of the tuition fee should explain the postponed sum and the extension date in the Financial Statement.
Scholarships
CESL offers scholarships solely based on academic performance.The scholarship policy for CESL's 2010/11 Double Master Programme is as follows:
1. " Entrance Scholarship" will be decided according to ranked performance on the Entrance Examination. The scholarship is divided into 3 classes: the prize for first-class scholarship winners is 23,000 yuan; second-class scholarships are 15,000 yuan and third-class scholarships are 10,000 yuan.
In this academic year, the total amount of scholarships awarded will be equal to 30% of the expected tuition income. Within this allotment, the amount of scholarship funds reserved for recommended students is equivalent to the percentage of recommended students among the incoming class of 2010.
2. The maximum amount for the scholarships according to CESL's affirmative action policy is equal to the tuition fee for the same academic year.
3. "Good Performance Scholarship" will be conferred according to the final ranking of average scores from the first academic year. The prizes will be divided into 3 classes: first-class (23,000 yuan); second-class (15,000 yuan); and third-class (10,000 yuan.) There will be a maximum of 10 winners.
4. "Public Service Scholarship" will be conferred according to the students' performance in the first academic year. There will be at most 4 students awarded this prize worth 5,000 yuan each.
In addition to these scholarships, CESL also receives private donations for supporting students facing economic hardship. CESL reserves the right to amend the category, amount and conferring time of the scholarship.
